Mountain Zvir is 4 km away from the
village of Litmanova, with its northern and eastern borders bordering Poland. The original
name was Zvor, symbolizing the joining of the hillside. Today this
ancient symbolism can represent the spiritual bond of people, who comes
here on pilgrimages, to the Mother of God. Each year more and more believers
are visiting Mountain Zvir. Less than 100 meters from the chapel, there is a
spring of drinking water, which is believed to have been Blessed Virgin Mary.
Believers drink water from this spring, claiming it has healing effects

Litmanova has been declared a Place of prayer
|

|
Provided that the proper liturgical requirement are met,
I hereby grant permission to celebrate the Divine Liturgy and all
other liturgical prayers in Litmanova on Moun Zvir. With
this decree I establish this hill as
a
Place of prayer. I also consecrate the chapel as
The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
